My server. running Server 2003 R2 has been reporting multiple 12292 and 10 VSS errors when. the UniTrends agent calls to the Shadow Volume Provider for a VSS Snapshot. The. server has the latest updates including SP2. Thus far I have: WebAug 13, 2010 · 5. (optional but recommended) Open the Command Prompt with administrator rights (Start -> All programs -> Accessories -> Right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator) and enter: vssadmin delete shadows /all to clean up any dead VSS snapshots that may be slowing down the machine. 6.
