WebOct 5, 2015 · Power washed the siding, applied the Alodine 1201, rinsed, dried, then used a Rustoleum self etching gray primer as a base coat. Applied a coat of Rustoleum finish paint, then a clear laquer. I can't say with absolute certainty which did the lions share of the work, the Alodine or the primer, but the outcome was excellent.
